The new esco Natural Crystal Rock Salt is an untreated rock salt free from any chemical additives and release agents. It is extracted from the esco mines in Northern Germany. These salt deposits were formed more than 200 million years ago, during the so-called Permian period.

With its naturally-grown rock salt crystals, esco Natural Crystal Rock Salt is of particular purity and free from any contamination or other environmental impact. It consists of ca. 99% sodium chloride (NaCl), while the remaining ca. 1% are vital minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and other important trace elements. esco Natural Crystal Rock Salt is ISO-certified and fully complies with all EC food regulations and requirements of the CODEX ALIMENTARIUS and meets the requirements of FCC V.

esco Natural Crystal Rock Salt is available in practical 25 kg bags for the food processing industries and manufacturers, and in 500 g packages for retail trade business.
