esco is a K+S Group company and Europe's leading salt producer.
The Hanover, Germany based company has approx. 19 production and distribution sites located in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
With an annual production of over 5 mio. tons of salt, esco offers to its international customers a full range of high quality salt products - salt for chemical use and industrial applications as well as for pharmaceutical products and applications, a variety of food-grade qualities for nutrition and food processing, as well as de-icing products for winter road maintenance purposes.
The company employs approx. 1,400 people and achieved revenues of approx. EUR 400 million
in 2006.
